This non-dairy product is a special combination of important intestinal flora. L. bulgaricus prepares the GI tract to be more suitable for the survival and growth of L. acidophilus and bifidus (B. bifidum). L. acidophilus is the primary bacteria of the small intestine. Tests demonstrate that the special strains of L. acidophilus and bifidus used in this product are implantable, which means they may attach themselves to the intestinal wall becoming a part of the naturally occurring flora.
